Chief Apostle Bishop Joseph L. Price, Overseer

Bishop Joseph Price accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior in 1957. In 1961, he was called to preach and he started his first church in Gary, Indiana in 1963. After six years, Bishop Price moved and started a church in May 1969 in Indianapolis, where he then established the Deliverance Centers of America, Inc. The churches of the DCA included Louisville, Kentucky; Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Rockford, Illinois; Gulfport and Laurel, Mississippi; Monroe, Louisiana; Dayton Ohio; Gary and Indianapolis, Indiana.


At present, he is the Senior Pastor of the Headquarters Christian Family Worship Center located at 1401 Hosea L. Williams Drive, SE, Atlanta, Georgia. He is the Presiding Bishop and Chief Apostle of the DCA, Inc.

Bishop Price's other accomplishments include opportunities for community service such as hospital chaplain, prison visitations ministry, weekly radio and television broadcasts, leadership seminars, guidance on various aspects of daily living such as relationships, employment and government, shelter for the homeless, Food Pantry and Housing Counseling. He also heads a Crusade committee that travels with him to conduct nationwide revivals and conferences.

He provides crucial answers to contemporary questions and concerns along with a thorough Biblical understanding of the foudational issues of faith including personal growth, relationships, church concerns, doctrine, service and outreach, and scriptural disciplines.
